Tim Day, was the pioneer of Journey to Zero, cycling solo for 10 days to make it to Munich on the 16th of June 2023.
In 2024 he was joined by Frank Dekker and together they cycled the whole journey from London to Munich.

During the journey Tim and Frank cycled across France, Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany to arrived in Munich on the 17th June ready for Intersolar. This year they will cycle an entirely new route, cycling through France and Switzerland to once again finish in Munich. Along the way, there will be 5 meetups, where solar industry professionals from across Europe will be networking and cycling across their city, to highlight zero-emissions travel.
